This past weekend holds a strong significance to the Rockies program. The 2nd Saturday in September of 1993, the South Bay Rockies was launched. It was started with the mission of preparing players for high school and beyond. Our slogan then and now is, “Can you HANG?”. Over the years, the Rockies have been known for playing baseball anytime, anywhere and against anyone. “We respect every opponent, but we fear NO ONE”.
A special THANK YOU to all of the players and parents that have made this program possible. Without you, there’s no me. Here’s to another 30 seasons and MANY more to come!
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary, we will be hosting a Hit-A-Thon on Sunday October 30th. We would love to EVERYONE’s faces, both old AND new! ALL are invited. There will be more details to come.
